Health Awareness Workshop Organized by Max Super Speciality Hospital in Association with AMU Old Boys’ (Alumni) Association, Lucknow
Lucknow, January 31, 2026:
Max Super Speciality Hospital, Lucknow, in association with AMU Old Boys’ (Alumni) Association, Lucknow, successfully organized a Health Awareness Workshop at the hospital premises on Saturday.
The workshop was organized with the objective of creating awareness about lifestyle-related diseases and promoting preventive healthcare among the community.
Dr. Waliullah Siddiqui, Director – Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary & Liver Transplant Surgery, was unable to join the program due to an emergency patient commitment.
The health awareness session was addressed by eminent specialists from Max Hospital, including:
Dr. M. U. Hasan, Director & HOD, Department of Pediatrics and Neonatology
Dr. Danish Hasan Kazmi, Director & Unit Head – Interventional Cardiology
Dr. Shahbaz Mohd. Khan, Associate Director – Interventional Radiology
Dr. Farah Arshad, Associate Director – Breast and Endocrine Surgery
The speakers highlighted the importance of early diagnosis, timely medical intervention, and lifestyle modification to prevent serious health complications. The session was interactive, with active participation from attendees.
As part of the initiative, free health investigations, including blood pressure and blood sugar checks, were conducted for the participants.
On the occasion, AMU Old Boys’ (Alumni) Association, Lucknow, honored the distinguished doctors and Mr. Ashish Sharma, Senior Manager, Max Hospital, by presenting mementos as a token of appreciation for their valuable contribution and support.
In a gesture of mutual appreciation, Max Super Speciality Hospital also presented mementos to the doctors , S.Shoeb President and to Ms. Shahla Haque, Honorary Secretary, AMU Old Boys’ (Alumni) Association, Lucknow, along with other association members .Vote of thanks is given by Executive member Mr Meraj Siddiqui .
The program concluded with a lunch session and was attended by alumni members, their families, making it a successful and meaningful community health initiative.
