A Commitment to Care, Compassion & Community Well-being
Healthcare has always been an integral part of the social service mission of the AMU Old Boys’ Association, Lucknow (AMUOBA). With a firm belief that good health is the foundation of a strong and empowered society, AMUOBA has consistently worked towards making quality healthcare more accessible to the community.

Over the years, AMUOBA has organised multiple medical camps, health check-ups, diagnostic screenings and health-awareness programmes in collaboration with leading healthcare institutions including Kind Hospital, Medanta Hospital and Max Super Speciality Hospital, Lucknow.

These camps have benefited a large number of people by providing medical consultations, specialist advice, health screenings and diagnostic facilities. The programmes also focused on creating awareness about preventive healthcare, early detection and the importance of regular health check-ups. Various health concerns, including heart health, cancer awareness, orthopaedic problems, blood pressure, blood sugar and respiratory health, were addressed through expert medical guidance.

A special and important feature of every AMUOBA medical camp has been the Association’s own contribution towards free medicines for the beneficiaries. Thus, AMUOBA has endeavoured to go beyond providing medical consultation by extending practical support to patients who require prescribed medicines. This initiative reflects the Association’s commitment to making healthcare support more meaningful, accessible and compassionate.

The enthusiastic response from the community has been deeply encouraging. For many beneficiaries, these camps have provided an opportunity to consult qualified doctors, undergo essential screenings and receive timely medical guidance—services that might otherwise have been difficult to access.

AMUOBA is deeply grateful to the doctors, medical professionals, hospital managements, paramedical teams, volunteers, members and well-wishers whose cooperation has made these healthcare initiatives possible. The collaboration between AMUOBA and reputed healthcare institutions has created a valuable platform where professional medical expertise meets community service.
