
AMU Old Boys’ Association Hosts Transformative Outreach Programme for Madrasa Girls
AMU Old Boys’ (Alumni) Association, Lucknow, successfully organized a powerful and inspiring Outreach Programme for Madrasa Girl Students on 21st December at Madrasa Jamiat-ul-Mominat Al-Islamia, Lucknow, with the participation of around 1,500 madrasa girl students from different parts of India.
The programme focused on Cleanliness and Awareness, Life Skills and Social Responsibility, and Health, Hygiene, and Well-being, along with career guidance and personality development. It aimed to empower young girls with confidence, clarity, and a strong vision for their future.
Eminent speakers Dr. Qamar Rahman Saheba, Mrs. Tahira Hasan Saheba, Dr. Uzma Mubashir, Asma Zehara Saheba, and Ms. Sameena Khan Saheba deeply inspired the students through thought-provoking sessions on health, education, faith, and social responsibility, igniting aspiration and self-belief among the participants.
The career guidance session encouraged students to identify their strengths, develop a growth mindset, and aspire toward higher education and meaningful careers, including opportunities in medical and academic fields, the Armed Forces, CRPF, and Civil Services, emphasizing their vital role in nation-building.
Addressing the gathering, Ms. Shahla Haque (Honorary Secretary) motivated the students to dream fearlessly and assured them of continuous guidance and unwavering support from the Association.
The programme was widely appreciated and left a lasting and transformative impact, reaffirming that education, determination, and the right guidance are key to empowering young minds and shaping a brighter future.
