Empowering Madrasa Girls: AMU Old Boys Association Lucknow’s Outreach Program
The AMU Old Boys Association Lucknow (AMUOBA) successfully conducted an outreach program for Madrasa girl students in Lucknow, aiming to empower and educate them on vital aspects of life. This initiative demonstrates our commitment to community development and social responsibility.
Program Overview
On Wednesday, 13th November 2024, AMUOBA organized an orientation program at Fatima Public Academy, Lucknow. The event brought together esteemed speakers and enthusiastic Madrasa girl students, fostering a dynamic exchange of knowledge and ideas.
Expert Sessions
1. General Health and Hygiene Awareness by Dr. Shamsiya (Gynae.), Asst. Prof. at Hayat Unani Medical College & Research Center, Lucknow. Dr. Shamsiya emphasized the importance of maintaining good physical and mental health, discussing essential hygiene practices, nutrition, and disease prevention.
2. Importance of Life Skills by Ms. Farah Sarosh, Founder & CEO of Nurture Life. Ms. Sarosh highlighted the significance of developing essential life skills, such as communication, problem-solving, and decision-making, to navigate personal and professional challenges.
3. Empowerment through Education by Mrs. Aisha Qudsi Qidwai, Asst. Prof. (HoD) at Karamat Husain Muslim Girls PG College, Lucknow. Mrs. Qidwai inspired the students to pursue higher education and explore opportunities beyond traditional boundaries.
