Relief and Rehabilitation Support for Vikasnagar Fire-Affected Families
AMUOBA Supports Vikasnagar Fire-Affected Families Through Relief and Rehabilitation Efforts
Alhamdulillah, we have marked another meaningful step in our collective relief and rehabilitation efforts for the fire-affected families of Vikasnagar.
As part of this initiative, bicycles were distributed to daily wage earners whose livelihoods depended on them, including household workers, labourers, street vendors, balloon sellers, and others who relied on their bicycles to earn a living.
Sewing machines were also provided to help families restart their small businesses and regain financial independence. New thelas (carts) were given to vendors whose carts had been destroyed in the fire.
A specially-abled brother whose hand-pulled rickshaw was completely burnt in the fire was also provided with a new rickshaw to help him resume his livelihood.
In addition, ration kits were distributed among all the affected families to support their immediate needs during this difficult time.
This initiative is not merely about distributing essential items; it is an effort to restore dignity, rebuild livelihoods, and bring hope to families facing hardship. Together, we are helping affected families rebuild their lives—one step at a time.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all donors, volunteers, and well-wishers for their unwavering support and contribution to this important cause.
