 According to Times of India newspaper report dated November 21, 2018, the annual general body meeting is scheduled to be held on 15th December 2018. The venue of this meeting will Up Urdu Academy, Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow.

After the Annual General Body Meeting, a seminar on the life and poetry of Majaz will follow. Majaz, a very popular poet from Lucknow, was also an illustrious student of the Aligarh Muslim University. His nazm Nazr-e-Aligarh was adopted as the University Anthem, popularly known as Aligarh Tarana.
